What? A Sage Ministry Conference, Discerning God's Voice in Polarizing Times: Wiser Ministry from the Book of Jeremiah

Who is this conference for? Leaders in ministry, both paid and volunteer. Our Sage ministry conferences enjoy the presence of counselors, students, pastors, preachers, worship leaders, sunday school teachers, small group leaders, campus ministers, and others who want to grow and can attend during the half-day.

What is our goal with this conference? To be encouraged and trained, in a context of hospitable welcome, honest Q&A, and a sense of being with others who share your desire to grow biblically wiser with Jesus for your life and ministry.  

Cost? $25, which includes the morning conference, coffee and snacks, and a free e-book written by Dr. Eswine with Mark Ryan.  Discerning God's Voice: Preaching and Teaching the Book of Jeremiah.

    Dr. Zack Eswine

    Zack pastors at Riverside Church and is the co-founder of Sage Christianity with his wife Jessica. He formerly served as Director of Homiletics and as Scholar-in-Residence at the Francis Schaeffer Institute at Covenant Seminary. A writer and pastor, his eight books include Recovering Eden: The Gospel According to Ecclesiastes; Spurgeon’s Sorrows: Realistic Hope for those who Suffer from Depression; Preaching to a Post-Everything World: Crafting Biblical Sermons That Connect with Our Culture; and, most recently, Wiser With Jesus.

    Katy Martin

    Katy is a licensed professional counselor who serves as the Director of Youth and College Ministries at Riverside Church. She and her husband have three children and love living in the St. Louis area. Katy has worked in youth ministry, in one capacity or another, for over 20 years.

    Lilian Werner, MA, LPC

    Lilian is the Founder and Owner of the St. Louis Counseling Center, where she also offers supervision for Provisional Licensed Professional Counselors (PLPC) and provides counseling for area adolescents, teens, and adults, working through a variety of concerns including depression and anxiety, trauma, and abuse. Lilian is an experienced counselor who has been in practice for 27 years.
